The sculptural free-standing radiator designed by Duesette wins the award in the Finishes category
Tree by Scirocco, the new free-standing electric radiator designed by Duesette, the design studio winner of the last edition of the Design Warm Contest, has won the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024, the international design competition organized by Archiproducts with the aim of recognizing, rewarding and celebrating design excellence.
Tree convinced the international jury, made up of some of the most sought-after architects, designers, journalists, architectural photographers and creative directors from around the world, by its sculptural appearance and strong stage presence but at the same time by its light and minimalist design.
A steel radiator that is extremely versatile thanks to its ability to be placed in any room and its push-button ignition, Tree can become a stylish bathrobe holder for the bathroom or a designer coat rack for the living room.
“We cannot but be be extremely pleased with this prestigious award – comment Filippo Arbellia and Sabrina Mora, partners and directors of Scirocco H – on the one hand because it honors a product that is one of the flagships of our production, and on the other hand because it gives us confirmation that the contest we created to find future designers of design radiator is a real forge of talent.”
“Winning the ADAs fills us with pride and is a clear indication that the connection that serves to generate innovation and quality has been created between company and designer – explain Elisa Ciucciovè and Giorgio Di Cesare of Duesette – And doing so with Scirocco, after winning the Design Warm Contest, is even better, telling a lot about how an emerging studio can grow if supported by those who turn ideas into products.”
